Decoration compatibility
VisePrint guidance derived from this garment's stated fabric and construction — not manufacturer claims.
Screen printing
Good
Blended fabric prints reliably; match the ink system to the dominant fiber.
- Dye-migration risk on polyester content — use a low-bleed or poly-specific ink system and cure at lower temperatures.
- Textured fleece surface — expect some ink gain; a higher-mesh screen and an underbase help keep edges clean.
DTF transfer
Good
Compatible with this fabric type at correct press temperature and pressure.
- Lofted fleece surface — press with slightly higher pressure for full transfer contact.
DTG printing
Good
Cotton-rich blend prints acceptably; expect a softer, more vintage result than 100% cotton.
- Water-based DTG ink absorbs poorly into polyester and can wash out — pretreat and test.
- Non-flat fleece surface reduces DTG detail.
Embroidery
Excellent
Midweight-plus fabric supports dense stitch counts without distortion.
- Lofted fleece — a water-soluble topping keeps small lettering from sinking.
Heat transfer
Good
Standard HTV and transfers apply well at the correct temperature for this fiber mix.
Sublimation
Not Recommended
Cotton-dominant fabric does not bond sublimation dye.
Decoration results can vary by equipment, ink, transfer material, garment color, and production settings. Always test before beginning a full production run.

About this blank
J. America Zen Fabric is a specialty product that undergoes a variety of processes to create its unique and textured look. As a result, the finished garments will shed a portion of their darker fibers, becoming noticeably lighter in shade after the initial laundry cycles. For best results, please wash and dry separately, following label instructions, for the initial launderings. Significant lint build up in the dryer is normal in the initial laundry cycles and can be avoided by hanging to dry.
Country of origin
Made in China.
Shown for the Cement colorway; origin can vary by color and production run.
