Triblend blanks
Triblends mix polyester, cotton, and rayon into the drapiest, most retail fabric in the blank catalog — the heathered depth of color is the signature. They print beautifully with the right choices: soft-hand plastisol, discharge-style effects, or DTF.
The polyester content brings the usual caveats: lower cure temperatures and dye-migration awareness.
How to choose
- Sell triblends on drape and heather color — they photograph like retail because they are retail.
- Water-based and discharge-style prints suit the fabric’s vintage character.
What goes wrong
- Curing triblends at cotton temperatures — rayon and polyester both object.
- Expecting bright, opaque prints without an underbase on dark heathers.
