Triblend blanks

Triblends mix polyester, cotton, and rayon into the drapiest, most retail fabric in the blank catalog — the heathered depth of color is the signature. They print beautifully with the right choices: soft-hand plastisol, discharge-style effects, or DTF.

The polyester content brings the usual caveats: lower cure temperatures and dye-migration awareness.

How to choose

  • Sell triblends on drape and heather color — they photograph like retail because they are retail.
  • Water-based and discharge-style prints suit the fabric’s vintage character.

What goes wrong

  • Curing triblends at cotton temperatures — rayon and polyester both object.
  • Expecting bright, opaque prints without an underbase on dark heathers.
