Ring-spun cotton blanks
Ring-spinning twists cotton into a finer, stronger yarn than open-end spinning — the result is a smoother face, softer hand, and cleaner ink lay-down. It is the single cheapest upgrade between a promo tee and a retail one.
Every garment below states ring-spun (or combed ring-spun) construction in its manufacturer specs.
How to choose
- For DTG and fine-detail screen printing, combed ring-spun is the reference surface.
- Retail merch programs should default to ring-spun bodies; the hand difference is immediately noticeable.
What goes wrong
- Paying the ring-spun premium for a one-day event giveaway where open-end economics win.
