Garment-dyed blanks
Garment-dyeing colors the finished piece rather than the yarn — the result is the washed, broken-in tone bands and coffee shops ask for by name, with shrinkage handled before decoration.
These bodies pair naturally with distressed art and water-based ink; the fabric is the aesthetic.
How to choose
- Design for the fabric: soft-hand and vintage prints look intentional on washed color.
- Because the dye process pre-shrinks the garment, what you print on is what ships.
What goes wrong
- Expecting exact PMS color matching from a dyeing process whose charm is variation.
